Colder temperatures are here to stay for the next few months. When your Truck's heater is blowing cold air and not warming up there are a few different things that could be causing the issue:
If your Truck is low on coolant, it won't be able to send any to the Heater Core to create warm air.
Seeing fog inside of the Truck, smelling a sweet odor, using coolant quickly, and the engine overheating are indicators that the Heater Core itself isn't working properly.
The Thermostat gauge not moving from "C" after the engine has had time to warm up indicates that the Thermostat may need to be replaced.
A leaking hose, radiator, or water pump will prohibit the heater from working properly.
Keeping up with your Truck Maintenance/Repair, having Fluids Topped-Off, and paying attention to your gauges can keep you moving and warm.
